Hello and welcome to the latest Weekender.
Let's start this week's edition with a little virtual housekeeping. Instagram, where most of our activities are happening, is having ongoing technical issues. Hashtags haven't been working properly since this summer (even though it looks like things are slowly getting better). If your weekly creative challenge submissions go unnoticed for more than a couple of days, please let us know. Just send your collage via Instagram's direct message. On that note, if you're new to the weekly creative challenges - we're very happy to have you! - please make sure you're Instagram account is NOT set to private and that tagging and sharing to stories are allowed.
You still have two weeks left to participate in our current open call in collaboration with Centre Anim' Rachid Taha here in Paris. There will be a little exhibition (looks like March 2023) and a catalog at the end of it, so it's worth joining in.
And now, without further ado, the latest collage news and inspiration.
Substack, ‘our’ newsletter platform, offers paid subscriptions, but this is no paywall. We believe in making art accessible to the widest possible audience, and our newsletter will remain free for anyone to read. Opting for a paid subscription is a way to support the collective and all we do. So is signing up to our Artist Directory. Think about it :)
