Hello and welcome to the latest Weekender.
This is our last reminder. You have only this weekend left to submit to our current open call in collaboration with Centre Anim' Rachid Taha (all information here). There is no fairy tale midnight deadline after which your collage will turn into a pumpkin. If you're one day late, two max, your collage will still be considered for both the catalogue and the exhibition. Don’t push it though ;)
That's all for PCC specific news for this week. So without further ado, the latest collage news and inspiration.
Substack, this here newsletter platform, offers paid subscriptions, but this is no paywall. We believe in making art accessible to the widest possible audience, and our newsletter will remain free for anyone to read. Opting for a paid subscription is a way to support the collective and all we do. So is signing up to our Artist Directory. Think about it :)

British Pop Art: Who Was Pauline Boty? - via The Collector
Pauline Boty was a firestarter of British Pop Art. A founding member, she made distinctive collage paintings celebrating female virility.
“My responsibility is to not divide within me. I start with that. I want to show people through the process of collage that we can be unified.” This ethos, paired with a passion for history, geometry, and anthropology informs her complete design language. “We’re living in a world through a box, and collage helps me break that,” she continues. “Some pictures are square, right? The challenge is to be free from those constraints, but in a way where people are still able to recognize their form.” Studio Visits: Delphine Diallo and Anna Lomax - via Hypebeast [French-born Delphine Diallo & multi-disciplinary artist Anna Lomax]
